Change to song

Having researched what type of song to use, I decided I would like to use a song that sounds upbeat and also has an upbeat story line in the lyrics. My original song choice was The kooks - Naive. However, although the song sounds upbeat, the lyrics aren't. I heard my chosen song first on a channel 4 advert for V festival. It sounds upbeat and has many dynamics to the song. The lyrics talk about romance in a generalized manor that means I can be creative with the story line and the images. The chosen song is written by 'The Temper Trap' and is called 'Sweet Disposition'

The title of the song 'sweet disposition' means a good state of mind which is perfect for the theme that I want to run through the music video. The lyrics show that the songs about romance between the persona and the subject of the lyrics, there are also memories mentioned in the song which would lend itself to using flashbacks in my video, I could also use colour wash in the flash back and make the footage look distorted which is something I haven’t practiced before.
